Missionary Ivy Clair was a member of the Tabernacle of Faith Baptist Mission, from about 2008 until the time of her passing. She was a vibrant member and a missionary at the church where she performed her dutiesprofoundly. This included moderating, preaching and she was the co-ordinator for ourannual Prayer Breakfast of which we always looked forward to. Her last two messages thatshe gave was about “Repentance and Preparation (be prepared). When we sum it up,because there is so much to say, we can only conclude – She was an awesome woman ofGod. A positive person. She was always encouraging her brethren to stay on the battle nomatter the storm. Hence her favourite song which she loved to sing a lot was “The AnchorHolds tho’ the ship is battered.”She will be missed deeply especially on Sundays when we see her empty seat. She’salways moving in the spirit and so we know and can join with Paul in 2 Timothy Chapter. 4,verse 7 that says I have fought a good fight, I have kept the faith, I have finish my course, henceforth a crown awaits her. We love her and miss her tremendously. May her soul restin peace and perpetual light shine on her always. As a church family we take comfort in the word of God. We weep not as those who have nohope, because we know we will see her again at the resurrection morning.
God bless you and to the family, you are in our constant prayer.

Aunt Ivy's passing has surely broken many hearts like myself, my mom Molly, my brothers Jason, Willie, Dean, my cousins Fay, Gurty and Hopey and many more loved ones. But I know that God only takes the best of us early and so I wanna say we miss u aunty but I know your in a better place, so sleep in peace my/our beloveth aunt Ivy.
As a child I remember visiting my aunt almost every school holiday's. My mother and her were very close, which meant we got to spend a lot of time with my cousins and uncle James on visits. Auntie Ivey had a wonderful heart and loved to give advice and guidance. As I got older aunt Ivey always made an effort to stay involved in our lifes. I appreciated how much she cared and how mom could always count on her. Auntie Ivey was always encouraging and positives. I will miss her smile and positive attitude. She was an incredible sister, mother, wife and aunt. She will be missed by a lot of people here today. I wish you peace and will always love you. Carmen Graham
