Jane Lunsford Critcher, 86, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, NC.
A native of Person County, she was the daughter of the late James Clinton and Gladys Dixon Lunsford. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a retired nurse at Murdoch Center in Butner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, July 26th, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the Reverend Keith Williams. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are three sisters, Pattie Lunsford Wilkins of Oxford, Nannie Lunsford Andrews of Gibsonville, Nettie Lunsford Hargis of Roxboro, one brother, James H. Lunsford of Danville Va., two step-sons, Jack (Asheboro) and Olen Critcher (Oklahoma). She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Critcher and a brother, William H. Lunsford.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1171 Hwy 158 W. Oxford, NC. 27565.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 Friday, July 26th,2013 prior to the funeral at the church.
