His Life

He attended Auburn High School and Southern Union State Community College. Jared loved bow hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping and the outdoor activities. He was very interested in the Native American Culture and collected many artifacts and books on the subject. He also enjoyed local Civil War history, playing the guitar and singing.

He was preceded in death by his father Harold Stephen (Steve) Daye. He is survived by his mother Karen Kenney of LaFayette, Al., brother Cameron Daye of Los Angeles, Ca., aunt Martha K. West (Gary) of Knoxville, Tn., cousins Alex West of Knoxville, Tn., Lauren West of Nashville, Tn., Jenny Moad, Jason Moad, and Jeremy Moad of Tampa, Fl., other cousins, many friends and his dog Piper.
