Jared Currier was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 19, 1982. He was the son of John Edward and Jane Ann Currier.  He was the older brother of Janelle Currier.  He was raised in Livonia, Michigan and attended Stevenson High School.  He graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and a minor in Spanish.  After college, Jared moved to Fairfield Glade, Tennessee and worked at Stone Peak Ceramics Company.  He lived with his girlfriend, Stephanie Jones, and their lab/beagle mix puppy, Lola.  Jared loved to spend his time fishing and he was passionate for all Detroit sports.  He was an encyclopedia of knowledge and had a great sense of humor.  Jared was laid to rest at his favorite fishing spot in Tennessee.  He is dearly loved and greatly missed.  Jared is at peace and will live on in our hearts and memories.

It seems like yesterday you left our lives.
I think of you every day. Not with sadness, but with a smile at the quirkiness you brought to our lives. Those are the things I miss most.
Happy birthday in heaven. I love you and miss you. I will until my last breath.
Mom
Ps our LIONS were pretty awesome this year. I know you were watching.

It's been 7 years. Not a day goes by without thinking about you.
Hopefully, you met up with your dad when he passed away July 18th,2021. Knowing you will be together gives me some peace.
Our Lions play today, on your anniversary. They will need all the help they can get, so cheering from heaven might help.
Say hi to Kitty for me. Hopefully, he made into heaven.
I love and miss all of you️❤️
Another sad day in a whole line of sad days.

Jared, I think of you often and I know you visit me in my dreams. Keep watching down on mom and dad. I'm doing fine, but if you feel like putting a great guy in my path, I would really appreciate it. ;-) I love you, bro. It gives me peace knowing that you are at peace.

Another birthday is here.  Remembering the years you were here. Not one day goes by that I don't think of you. They say, it gets easier as time passes, but I don't agree with that.
You will remain safely tucked in my heart. I miss you. I love you. I miss your humor and the talks we shared Life is not same without you, but we manage to carry on without you.
Until we meet again.
All my love, mom.

You are missed!  Every day!  My heart is broken. I love you!

4 years and the pain is still fresh.

Until we meet again son.

September 21, 2014

We first met Jared and his family in scouts. He was obviously a product of his parents.  Gregarious, intelligent, full of energy, willing to participate with everything, athletic and enjoyed what life had to offer. Last time we saw him was when he was in college. He was still family oriented, certainly good looking, and  intelligent We are so sadden of of this loss. Our prayers are to the Curries to have strength and that wonderful memories will bring you smiles and warmth.
