Today was a very long day. The doctors decided to start waking you up! I've been here alone but by your side every minute. Your nurse is Carol-ann and she is awesome!! It is amazing how much these nurse's do for you! Everyone loves you Bud!! My special man you are finally moving your toes and slightly opening your eye's!!! What a Blessing. Next step is to get the nitric oxide off and wean the ventilator. You are making a steady progress!! Keep fighting sweety God's got you in His hands. I Love You Echie!!

You have been doing so Good My Son!! What a fighter!! The doctor's decided to remove your arterial line!!! And are thinking about starting to wake you up tomorrow!!! I'm so amazed by you!! Mommy's special man!! You are strong.Your chest is doing well and one of the Stitches from where your drain tubes were popped on it's own. Slow but steady progress!! Mommy is exhausted but I can't give in!!! We need each other so leaving for rest isn't an option. I Love You Echie!!

Your chest is closed and drain tubes come out in a little bit. You have been doing well and holding stable on your vitals!! I'm so happy. Still not out of the deep end but you sure are making progress!! Keep up the Great work Peanut!!! God is good! He is seeing you through all of this. I'm glad you are comfortable and not in any pain as well! I cant wait to see you open your eye's and hold you. I Love You Echie!!

Your nurse is thomas.. he is a little sketchy to me but I have to have faith in him.. not a big talker but a big farter.. it's okay as long as you are okay sweet heart. Today your chest is getting closed and that's a major step. I'm scared for it to pop open or something but once again I HAVE TO HAVE *FAITH*.. be strong sweet Baby. And remember no matter how exhausted I am i wont leave your side. Only to pump milk for you so when you come off of life support We can try you on Mommy's milk again!! I Love You Echie!!

You had a small set back last night thing's got shaky with you. The on call attending physician Michael and the wonderful nurse caring for you Kumar, got you through the toughest hour's and bump in the road. With that being said your chest can not be closed today.. they are afraid of you clotting up again. This is so much for your little body and I'm sorry, but Please My Son please fight. I Love You Echie!!

I can not believe this is happening. Never in a million years did I ever think this could be my child laying on life support with His chest still wide open and heart beating behind a plastic cover. I thought This stuff Only happens in movie's. My sweet Baby please be strong. I'll be by your side every minute of every day.. please fight BabyBoy.. God has you in His hands. I Love You Echie!!

So at your doctor's visit, your pediatrician Janice Jones, said you are blue. They rushed you via ambulance to St.Marys where they put you under 3 hour's of testing, ripped off your belly button cord and ran iv lines thru your tummy. A long 5 hour's Later and one doctor had a major answer for me... and it is beyond what I was expecting. You have been diagnosed with T.A.P.V.R. (OBSTRUCTED). There is nothing St.Mary's can do for you. So they called in the experts at Miami Children's Hospital to send a trauma unit to transport you to Miami for a MAJOR OPEN HEART SURGERY. Life flight arrived and took you alone. I had to suffer a 1 and a half hour drive worried about you My Son. When I arrived at the hospital you were still in surgery. After 11 hour's you was finally brought out from the o.r. I Love You Echie!!

So today is your infant check up and I feel like something may be wrong. You aren't drinking formula and when you drink my breast milk you vomit. You have been really sleepy and dont cry as loud as before. Hopefully the doctor can tell m e what to do to help you take the breast milk or suggest a formula that wont upset your tummy. Your 1 week old today!! Time flys. I love You Echie!!

You like to sleep on Mommy's chest. That seems to be the only way to get you to rest soundly. I don't mind though!! Great Baby, not fussy and you love your breastmilk!! I'm so happy to finally have you home with me! I know it is not going to be easy doing this alone, but I think We will be just fine! I love you Echie!!

5/3/11 at 3:03 pm we welcomed into this world out Son, Jayden Chance Love. 7Lbs 9ozs 21 1/2inces long. What a beautiful sweet Boy! Mommy is so complete! We waited 9 months to see you and finally we have you here with us!
