Sweet Memories

August 2, 2014

I had no idea that would be the last time I kissed her cheek. This amazingly strong woman will always be my #1 Hero.  Independent, a great role model she was. I had the privilge of being her right hand woman, I'm her partner in crime as she liked to put it. Every Cup Refill of coke, when she was walkin to the bathroom and got lightheaded there was no doubt  I was already there to steady her, every late night snack, every episode of bonanza, reba and medicene woman. Everytime her roses needed cutting back. I Was Her AID the air she breathed  the love that fulfilled her ever need, gardener, cook,  Nurse her head rub, back foot & leg massager. I did it all out of love expecting nothing but her smile in return. I Paineted her Toes did her makeup & hair for every doctor visit & eveyday all week Chemo Appointments. I was her chofer, I'd flag down and follow to get wheelchairs for her when she was to weak to walk. this was more than my grandmother she was my best friend ,Teacher, discount shopping buddy. when she left a part of me went with her. and a part of her stayed with me. she lives in my heart and that will never change.
