So, here it is 2013 already, and it just doesnt seem okay, for time to keep going by without you. We are all seeing things in this old world that remind us... of you daily. You may not be here in body, but you are in spirit. May you feel our love for you and always be, just over our shoulder. Love you Jeff!

 We had an interesting day on Halloween.  We had received about 5 phone calls of people interested in your car.  I told Dad to call the one, who's name was Robert, because that is your brothers name.  He came and loved your car and bought it.  The fact that it sold on Halloween, your favorite holiday and to a person named Robert, just makes me feel that you had a hand in this.

Today, Sep. 20,  I was at your home going through things.  There was a knock at the door.  A man was there and ask for you.  I explained what had happened.  He proceeded to tell me ,that you had helped him, when he was really down.  He stated that he had come by, to  let you know that he was doing great and to tell you "Thank You," again.  Then, he said he was very sorry to hear the news. 
You were such a blessing to so many.    We keep being told by different ones, that you would always  say,.............' I will give you a hand up, not a hand out" and how much they appreciated you for that. 
Thank you, honey, for being who you were.

The person in our family having the birthday, gets to choose where they would like to go have a meal.  Jeff chose Coopers Town.  He enjoyed the idea that it was Alice Cooper's place and had heard about it.  Some of the decor was Alice Cooper's guitars which were framed and in cases.   It was a fun time.

What an honor it was to be your mother.  The Love and Respect that we had for each other, can not be matched.  I am so Thankful for the relationship of all members of my family.  I don't have to reqret not telling you everything that I wanted too.  How proud I was of you and the person that you were.    Love and Miss you.  Mom

Since you liked to read up on Wizards and had that interest , I decided to give you this picture in with your birthday card. 

What a beautiful gift  you were to  everyone who knew you.  The kind, considerate, loving person that you were just showed how special you were and always will be.  You are in our hearts and minds forever.

Jeff  loved to have fun.  He and friends from the Club house would  dress up and go to the Renaissance Festival.  It pleased them, when others who were there, would ask if they could have their picture taken with them. 
These glasses were weird, but did get a reaction every time, from someone. 

This was a fun memory.  We, (Mickki, Danny, Mela, Bobby and me (your mom) all caught the ferry from Larkspur  and went to San Francisco for the day.  This picture is in China town.  We rode street cars, caught the bus to Golden Gate park and went to Pier 39.  It was a very busy and fun day.

What a sweet baby you were.   We fell in love with you from day one.  You were such a good baby and slept through the night.  There are so many wonderful memories of you.  Love and Miss you, honey.

Jeff enjoyed going to the Renaissance Festival each year.  He enjoyed watching how the blown glass was done, along with the other crafters and their wares.  He also enjoyed the shows there, Dead Bob being one of his favorites.  Regardless of the heat, due to the weather in Arizona, he would brave the temperture to enjoy a full day.

We,( Jeff, Joy and I, Jeff's Mom, ) volunteered and worked in a stand at Country Thunder with the funds earned going to support Special Olympics.  It was interesting as I am not a meat eatter and so I did not know the cuts that people were ordering, So between Jeff and Joy, they would let me know.  I can still see Jeff cooking the meat with onions and green pepper and Joy busy at the counter. 
We had a pretty good laugh as when we first got there, they took us on a little wagon to where we would be working.  It was a very bumpy ride.
Good memories and good company.     

As it is hard to get everyone together, when you all have your own busy lives, we were very lucky to be able to all attend the Family Reunion in Idaho in 2011

I remember the day, Jeff saw this car parked in a lot on the corner of Main and Power with a For Sale sign on it.  Knowing that he would not be able to afford it, he wanted to at least look it over, as he said it was a feel good car.  As it was, he was able to have the car and loved to drive it.  He enjoyed the remarks that people would make , usually regarding a car like it in their family that they remembered and tell him how neat they thought it was.  He was even pulled over by a policeman one time.  When he asked if he had done something wrong, he was told, "No, I just needed a look at that car.  And if you ever decide to sell it, I would be interested."
Jeff enjoyed taking family & friends for a ride.  When his aunt and uncle came to visit, he and his uncle Gary liked to go to the Sonic drive-in and hang out.

 

Jeff, From the day you came into this world and shared with us, that great smile, sense of humor and caring ways; to the time, you quietly slipped away.................you have left imprints on our hearts forever. We can only hope that you know, how much you are loved and missed.
