I think of you almost every day Jill Burke, and I am comforted by this thought. From the moment my family moved just a few doors away from yours, was the moment we became friends. Our children played together and grew up through our friendship, we certainly had our work cut out for us 18 years ago to be parents of kids who were growing up right in front of us and we had to "cushion" all the little arguments that festered, especially if the neighbor girls were playing along side of the boys!  Oh, how you and I were like bears, protecting them from the heat...knowing they were going to take a fall anyway, but we taught them right. I found a tent in my garage this spring and of course all I saw was Jo-Jo and Jason for it camping out in our yards....I miss you so much, but I have this incredible memory for what it represents to come across it once again. I paid it forward to the boys next door and I hope they have the fun our boys had to use it now, I will always think of you when I see them playing in it. I planted flowers in your garden for you this year, it was something I needed and wanted to do, next year I will ask your Mom and Annmarie for help.  I just felt the need to do it this year, you know how I am....there was a rock and I marked it "Jill's Garden"...Tim thought it was too much, so it's at my house with flowers just for you. I pray you are at peace and holding on to the love so many have for you, until we meet again.
