A Time To Be Born: Jimmy Cameron, affectionately known by his family and friends as (Boodie) was born in Hogansville, Georgia to the late James Cameron, Sr. and late Carrie Mae Cameron on February 20, 1954. He was the third child of twelve siblings. Boodie loved his family.
A Time To Live: Boodie joined the Louise UM Church where he received Christ under the leadership of Reverend Jairo Gay. He met and married Maxine McGhee in 1995. He attended Ethel Knight High School. He later joined the workforce and became employed with William Carter Company for many years until his health impaired him.
Those Who Preceded Him in Death: His two nieces, Letythia Cameron and Charava Cameron; close friend, Stacy Smith.
A Time To Be Called Home: Boodie departed this earthly life on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Thank God for my soul's resting. Leaving to cherish his memories, his daughter, Taneshia (Tillman Jr.) Hill; wife, Maxine Cameron; step daughter, Erika White; grandchildren, Terriyunna Dunson, Tristian, Serenity and Trinity Hill, Safari Laye and Kaleigh Lewis; Father-in-law, Allen McGhee; brothers, James (Felicia) Cameron, Jr. of Hogansville, GA, Frank (Cynthia) Cameron of LaGrange, GA, Chrles (Angela) Cameron of Luthersville, GA and Anrique (Angela) of LaGrange, GA; sisters, Janie (Larry) Cameron of Hogansville, GA, Brenda Allen of Luthersville, GA, Linda Boyd of Hogansville, GA, Effie (Willie) Cotton of Hogansville, GA, Mary Cameron of LaGrange, GA, Laurie Edmonson of LaGrange, GA and Janet Cameron of LaGrange, GA; uncles, Harry (Wolfe) Rosser, Willie B.
