Myrtle Beach
Joanne & I traveled to Myrtle Beach back in October for my birthday. We stayed at a nice resort with an ocean front room on the 10th floor. We relaxed and sunned at the beach, pool & had fun on the lazy river pool. On the day that it rained we went to the indoor pool & the hot jacuzzi. Jo was a great swimmer and loved the water. We played miniature golf & went to the driving range as she watched me & video taped me. We had a great time shopping in Barefoot Landing & Broadway on the Beach. Our favorite shop was the Christamas Mouse; we were both so excited & amazed at all of the wonderful decorations for Christmas. We went to some of the nicest restaurants in the area including the Flying Fish and even enjoyed a nice relaxing lunch at Friendly's. We both loved our ice cream and deserts and often indulged. We saw several sunrises over the ocean's beach from our private balcony. The waves were so relaxing & comforting for our week's stay. We had so much fun together on this wonderful vacation that I will cherish forever.
Snow tubing
I will never forget our girls day out last year. You, me and Annabelle decided it would be soooo much fun to go snow tubing. We drove for two hours to get to the resort. After arriving at the ski resort, you took one look at the steep hill and chickened out of tubing. You stayed at the bottom of the hill and watched Annabelle and I head up the lift for our wild ride down the hill. Well, one trip down the hill and Annabelle was terrified. She cried and didn't want to do it again. I made her try it one more time and you thought I was so mean. Well, she hated it even more the second time. We all decided we would have much more fun having manicures and pedicures. So, we headed back to Jersey and straight to the nearest nail salon. We had such a great time! I will treasure this and so many other fun memories.
