John was born on jan 31, 199 to the parents of Joseph and Carol Augustine of Westfield MA. He attended Westfield High School graduated in 1966 and served in the US Navy from 1968 to 1974 in board the USS George Washing Carver. Following discharge he worked for a few companies before he went back to school and graduated U Mass Amherst with a degree in Mechanical engineering. He moved to toTexas and married Jane Plumlee of McAllen Tx and became a step dad to her two son Charles and James David. He is survived by his brother Jeff of Waltham MA. He passed away from lung, brain and bone cancer on February 2013.
