Wow I still can’t believe it, feels like just yesterday we were sitting eating ice cream while you and Rod talked about the game. Wow, wow, wow. Uncle Bubba, I thank you for just being you, no superficial pretense, no pretending to be something that you aren’t. You are just Uncle Bubba. Even as a baby, before I can remember, my mom said I was crazy about my Uncle Bubba. That’s because children recognize authenticity. Thank you for keeping it real, long before this generation coined the term “Keeping It Real”. You are always and forever loved. - LIFE Love Is For Ever

Thank you for treating me as your very own, and I didn't take that lightly. You will forever be in my heart and I'll continue to carry the name that you gave me "tater chip" along with so many memories, love you always, your tater chip!

My heart is heavy and there are no words to describe how I feel. You purchased my first prom dress and I will never forget that. I know we all have to go but didn't expect you to leave us so soon. Thankful for all the memories you left and the love you gave and showed. Uncle bubba you will forever be in my heart. Rest on and worry no more. Until we meet again....love Jet, cry baby, and Jayln

Its hard to even believe that your not here anymore. Even though we didn't get a chance to see each other much, the times that we did you always brought a smile to my face and gave me one of the biggest hugs ever. I'm going to miss those so much. God knows best and I wouldn't question him, just hate that you had to go so soon. You will be dearly missed. Love Ashley, Jontavious, Dj, Tyeisha, & Myeisha Middlebrooks.
