This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, John Knight, 33, born on December 29, 1981 and passed away on December 4, 2015.

John was a respectful, caring, giving son, brother, father and husband.  He was always ready to help out—with enthusiasm to anyone in need.  His many friends know he had passion, and took pride in accomplishing great work.

Please join us for a service in his memory, Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

What a nice guy to have known, I've only known him for a couple of years. I always enjoyed having conversations with him. He loved working out at the gym. He was very supportive for the younger guys that were doing fitness shows and accompanied me to two shows. He was a good guy and will be missed.

I'm sitting here today so grateful you decided to stay the night with us last Saturday. We had so much fun with you. Your stories had us laughing so hard and you could see the excitement in your eyes as you were talking to me and Adam even though we wouldn't let you jump to another story before you finished the one you were already talking about. I'm going to hold the memories close to my heart forever.

I remember the first day I actually got to meet you and your brother , it was at Uncle Johnnie's. On Jan 1,1992, five days before I left for the US Navy, bootcamp. It was the same day I met your Dad, my brother, for the first time. I was 18 years old. We all went snow mobiling and had a blast. After bootcamp I got stationed onboard a ship. Once I bought a car made another trip out to michigan and got to see you again before the ship left for the med where I was for three years. I lost track of everyone time got away everything went crazy in my life. Oh i miss you. I know you are in heaven and watching over all of us . I love you John and miss you.

I'm so happy you came to mine and Kippers house for Thanksgiving! I asked you to take me for a spin on your bike and you said, "come on" so off we went. It was my first time on a Ninja bike. We went really fast and I loved it. Like I told you, Kip and I kind of putts around on our Harley. Kip says his fast days are over.

A couple of years ago John shared a memory of my son Canvas and himself...they were pretty young at the time, they both walked up to each other and said "you look like me"... and looking through some of the photos of John that were submitted, wow they did!
