John Richard David Werdell was born to Kenneth and Catherine Werdell on March 1, 1950 at St. Joesph Hospital.
He was the youngest of four children between his father's, and mothers other children from previous marriages.
He was married to Victoria in 1970 and they had three children, Johnny born in 1972, Kenneth in 1974, and Katherine in 1976.
Victoria,Johnny, Kenneth, and Katherine died in a fire in 1975.
John was at Illinois Masonic Hospital when he found out that Victoria and his children died in a fire with Victoria's boyfriend.
John had three half-brothers, Thomas Bullaro, Charles Bullaro and Edward Werdell.
