My first fish

October 20, 2019
One time me, joe and trish went fishing, I had never caught a fish before so you could image how excited I was. We drove down to a pond that was on private property and I forgot who’s land it was but we parked the four wheeler and set up. We were down there for awhile n I was fishing and I got a bite and started reeling it in, with the help of trish probably. We got it out and all the sudden we heard someone coming. I remember Joe yelling at me to give him the fish he had been sitting on the four wheeler the whole time. The owner of the property came down there n asked us to throw all the fish we had caught back and get off their property. So me and trish threw all the fish back except one, joe had been holding it behind him the whole time. There was no way we was throwing back MY FIRST FISH. surprisingly she never seen the fish joe had been hiding so she left. We got all our stuff and started heading back home laughing the whole way, I was so excited to show everyone my first fish. We got home and showed everyone they put it in the freezer and it is still there, in a freezer at grandmas house. Forever my favorite memory with joe, he didn’t realize then but what he did for me that day i would think about so much. Forever thankful for the amazing uncle i was blessed with.

Missing you Joe.

Here is just one of the memories I have of me and my brother.
joe was probably about 17 and I was like 16 and we was at home by ourselves one day after school and he had his little red four wheeler and my moms four wheeler was at home too. Well we was bored so we decided to go ride four wheelers knowing that we wasn’t allowed to ride them while mom and dad was at work lol. Well we went u on the trail across the road and when we started going up it I was on his little red four wheeler and I got stuck in between two trees. Well joe has to get off moms four wheeler and come get on his red one and get it unstuck for me. Well when he was getting back on moms four wheeler he had it in reverse and somehow he hit the throttle when he grabbed the handle bar to swing his leg over to get in it and when he hit the throttle it gassed it and like tossed him in the air somehow and when I seen that I was like oh shit he’s gonna be hurt and then we’re both gonna be in trouble for riding the four wheelers. Well when I ran over to him he wasn’t hurt but he sure was mad at me and told me it was my fault that that had happened to him cause if I wasn’t being so dumb and got stuck in between the trees he wouldn’t of had to gotten off the four wheeler he was on. But needless to say mom and dad never even knew what we did so we never got in trouble lol and had fun riding the four wheelers back there to the pond by hanshaw’s place.

Just wanted to share a memory that I have of joe he went deer hunting with his dad and brother and since we didn't have a 4 wheeler he rode a little pony down our driveway and across the road.Apparently he didnt tie the horse right and the pony got loose. With joe being paralyzed he would be stuck in the woods until his brother or dad came back to where he was. I ended up going hunting that day in the same area he was at as I started walking across the road I heard a shot so I walked a little faster I could see Joe in the distance he was sitting on the ground and I hollered out did you shoot he said ya its laying right over there I think it's a buck . So when I got over to where he was at he said help me up and help me walk over there well it was a buck but not as big as  he thought it was. If you have a memory with joe share it....
