Joseph Paul Nowlen, of Glendora, NJ, died on Thursday, June 6, 2013, due to complications of lung cancer. He was originally from Altoona, PA.

He was a meat cutter in the UFCW Local 56 Union, Mt. Laurel, NJ and worked in various supermarkets in the Southern, New Jersey area.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Shirley Ann (nee Marcinkiewicz) Nowlen, sons, Andrew and Gary Nowlen, daughter, Lisa Swartz (Nowlen), step-daughter, Lauri Hudson, and five grand-children.

He will be cremated and there will be a private interment in Altoona, PA at a later date.
