Mom, today you would have turned 70. I miss you so much, and I wish you were here. We could eat cake, and you would probably say that it tastes good, even though you don't really like cake. I am still confused....did you like cake?

Everyday I think about my Nanny. I look back on and the wonderful memories I have with her. But I also remember wishing I'd spent more time with her, and feeling a little guilty for not doing so. But, I know that she wouldn't want me to dwell on the negativity and only remind myself that she loved me, and I loved her. I miss you so much Nanny.

As difficult as it has been to lose my mother, there have been some positive experiences. One thing that I have enjoyed is hearing what people have to say about her. I always knew my mother was an incredible person, but the past few months have taught me just how special she was. I hope that everyone will feel free to use this site to share stories and thoughts about my mother.

You were one of the kindest, and friendliest people I had the pleasure of knowing. You will be forever missed, Katie!

Kate, We went from Jr. High thru HS together. You were always one of the nicest girls I knew. Thoroughly enjoyed being with you. I pray you are happy where you are now & comforted in the arms of His love.

Still can't believe you are gone. We had our tough times but things always turned around for the good! I know I never said it much but you are a great person and loved by many people! My kids think the world of you! You are the best Nanny anyone could ask for! Keep and eye on them when I can't !

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of and miss my best friend. We had wonderful times together, and maybe someday I will be able to share on tis site, but not yet. I just know that you are watching over me and contributing to the craziness even now. The best nurse I ever worked with. She took care of all of the hopeless patients and genuinely cared for them. She and I attended so many funerals together.
I remember the day all of the nurses went to her mom's house after work so that we could go sledding at Trull Brook and then we had hot chocolate with her family.
