Passed away on September 24, 2013 in California, United States
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Kenneth Gulko, 72 years old, born on January 28, 1941, and passed away on September 24, 2013. We will remember him forever.
Ken, I will remember you for your kind smile and warm heart. I will always picture you with a camera around your neck ready to capture special moments. I still have the gift card you sent me to buy my daughter something special, whatever we choose, it will be something great from Uncle Ken! Natalie
Ken rest in peace, your family at Corkys (Lamplighter) all miss you. For 30 years we shared stories and meals with you it is now time for you to rest. My family thanks you for all of our wonderful vacations you sent us on. We thank you.
My uncle’s internment yesterday was very brief, but very emotional, with only me and my sister Kathryn present. A deep personal thanks to Ken's friends & colleagues at The Travel Store. Between personal and company contributions, they paid for Ken's preparation & internment. It is comforting to know he spent his working life surrounded by people who loved and cared for him.
Ken, we had plans next week as you know and I'll follow through with them as if you were still here. I will never forget you as you were a special part of my family and will always have a place in my heart forever. I will miss you, your smile and your laugh. Till we meet again. Love you, Kelli
Ken, you were such a gentle soul. Why were you taken away from us so early? I guess no one knows the answer. I am happy that I had a chance to take you on a tour of my beautiful island home...Jamaica. Your Facebook posts and comments will be missed.
Ken, I so regret us not having gotten together for over two years. You were so good about calling. May peace of mind and body be with you cousin. Enjoy your new travels.
Dearest Ken, uncle, traveler, keeper of family memories and occasional pain in the tuchas. I love you and miss you and hope you really knew how very much you were appreciated. You worked to keep distant family together, traveled long distances to be with us (even when it was hard), and were always generous to the very limit of your means. Thank you for your kindness and company.
