Mr. Jeande Franchesco Martin (Jan) was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 27, 1955 to Carressa Martin Jones and Mr. William Lee Favors, but raised by Joseph and Daisy Martin. Mr. Martin was educated in Meriwether County School system. Mr. Martin was employed at Preferred Logistics LLC.

Jeande F. Martin married Linda Buchanan on November 25, 2001. They enjoyed twelve years of holy matrimony. He was a devoted husband, a caring father and was loved by everyone he came in contact with. Jan never met a stranger. Mr. Martin rededicated his life to Christ at New Life Christian Ministries where he enjoyed being around his Pastor Lawrence Doby. He faithfully attended service until his illness.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife Linda Martin; his daughters, Carrissa Martin, Tymeka Crawley, Felicia (Charles) Leslie, Shonda Berrie, Latwanna Barnes; a stepson, Tyree Barnes. Mr. Martin is also survived by his mother, Carressa Martin Jones; his mother-in-law, Martha Buchanan; two sisters, Consibrina Martin (Joe) Curry and Antia Smith; one sister-in-law, Teresa Tucker; brother-in-laws, Robert (Frances) Tucker, Curvin (Diane) Buchanan, Jimmy (Patricia) Buchanan, James (Janice) Buchanan, Bobby (Pam) Buchanan, Kenneth (Angie) Buchanan, Stanley (Robin) Buchanan. Jan is survived by eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchld; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews; along with longtime friends, Rufus Martin, William Huff, Ronnie Kempson, Alfonzo, Robert, Shirone, Edie Scott and Steve.
