"My condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Niewohner. Though I didn't know him personally, I know he was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Death is never an easy thing to cope with and the feelings of pain and grief can at times seem unbearable. I wanted to share a comforting thought that helped me when I dealt with the sting of death in my family. God tells us at John 5:28, 29 that "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". We also have the promise at Isaiah 25:8 that God "will swallow up death forever and...will wipe away the tears from all faces". Yes, take comfort in knowing that not only does God eagerly yearn to resurrect the dead, He will also do away with death forever! "May you forever rest in peace!"
