SFC Ret. Leonard I. Evans of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Gentiva Hospital. He was 76 years old and resided at 4810 Velpoe Drive.

SFC Evans will be laid to rest with full military honors at the National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL., on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 following a 11:00 A.M. Homegoing Celebration in the Chapel of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc., officiated by Rev. James B. Cannon.

Visitation is Wednesday 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the Chapel.
The cortege will depart from the residence Wednesday at 10:45 A.M.
