Leslie Brian Riveland, 65, most recently of Goodyear, AZ, passed away July 28, 2015. Les was born May 30, 1950 to Raymond and Opal Riveland in Crosby, ND. Les was raised on a farm in Fortuna, ND and graduated High School from Crosby, ND. After High School, Les was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam. On his return from service, he began working for the grain elevator in Fortuna, ND. In 1976 he met the love of his life, Lora Thogersen and on July 22, 1978 they were wed. They recently celebrated their 37th Wedding Anniversary. Les and Lora made their home in Tioga, ND and then in Williston, ND. Les managed the grain elevator in Fairview, MT until his retirement in 2012. Les was blessed with three beautiful daughters: Lanis, Rianna, and Marissa. They were his pride and joy. The girls took every opportunity to spoil their father and he loved every minute of it. In 2003 he gained a son-in-law, Kellan Damm, and was blessed with two grandsons Brayson and Tavin. He adored those little boys and cherished every moment with them, always looking forward to their visits. All that knew Les recognized his devotion to family, kindness, and good nature. In his free time he enjoyed photography, the Minnesota Vikings, hearing from his brothers and sisters, and planning the next big trip with his wife. He also made sure to find time to have a cup of coffee and savor a donut. Les was preceded in death by his mother and father, Opal and Ray Riveland. He is survived by his loving wife Lora, his three girls Lanis, Rianna and Marissa, son-in-law Kellan, grandsons Brayson and Tavin, his siblings: Neil (Sandra) Riveland, Gary (Toni) Riveland, Jan (Gary)Olson, Faye ( Darryl) Lee, Gail Bjella, Wayne (Robin) Riveland, and his many nieces and nephews.
