Good morning Grandma I trust you're in a happier place and among Kindred spirits?  Well this is awkward but I love you   peace and blessings to your soul and may God grant you your Angelic wings if you already traded them in for a Star Trek type aircraft knowing you. Lol  love ❤  ❣

Another birthday has passed grandmother . I created this to remember you and I did the same for my father. I can't recall much today and I'm not really trying to.  I have a lot on my mind these days and neither people living or deceased are topics of interest. Anyway, I know you're okay in a non physical body. No more pain or suffering.

Having time to reflect a bit here on how we interacted.  I have a photo of you and I from the early sixties at the Airport in Atlanta.  Anyway, I am on my way to an interview later this morning.
Thank you for being my grandmother. Love always Greg.

463 Summer Avenue Newark, New Jersey

Living in the Northward of Newark, New Jersey during the early seventies provided me with a childhood fraught with fun, discouragement and discipline from a plethora of human and institutional norms.  My grandmother Lillian worked at Martland Hospital and later renamed UMDNJ aka University of College, Medicine and Dentistry where she worked in House Keeping.  Every Friday night after work she'd tell me to call into Frank's Pizzeria on Bloomfield Avenue and she'd drive me up there and we'd pick up our pie.  Just grandma and I eating pizza in the kitchen while everyone else retired for the evening.  Of course that's entirely true. We had a Doberman Pinscher named Cesar.  We'd have to give him at least 2 slices.    Lolz
