Justin and I made a trip to Santa Cruz to tell Grandma the exciting news that I was expecting a baby. I called her a couple days ahead of time so she would be ready for us. When we showed up we were happily surpired that she had walked down to the local grocery store and purchased two big 22oz beers, one for each of us. As it turns out, those two beers where the first (and only) beers that she ever bought! What and honor! She had been following all my brewery check-ins on facebook and knew we liked craft brews. When it came time to drink the beer, I of coarse spilled the news that I was pregnant and she was so excited. She grabbed the beer back from me and smiled big as she gave both of the beers to Justin. Cheers, Grandma... this one is for you.
