I love to remember the days when Mami fixed us hot chocolate and toast or bread that she'd baked on a cold morning. It was so much fun. The house was warm and serene. Mami handled everything with gentle hands it almost looked like slow motion, but she certainly didn't do anything in slow motion. I used to help her hang clothes outside and I liked doing that with her. I wanted to put the clothes thru the wringer, but she wouldn't let me, except maybe once with her help cause my fingers might get caught like a relative's did. Ouch! Mami had our house so clean and orderly, and the yard was something else. No trash of ANY kind out there. She was a wonderful, loving Mom, great housekeeper and a great cook. The food was always made with LOVE. I loved her hands, her fingers. Thank you Mami, for teaching me to make it in life. You were so very smart and minded your own business. You sacrificed so much for your children. I am proud of you, proud that YOU were my Mother. Thank you again for everything you did for me. I love you and miss you so much. Thank you for all the beautiful clothes! What a strong and determined LADY you were. Sometimes I still wonder how in the world you did everything the way you did and I want to do that way, too. I'm working on it. Thank you for teaching me strength and courage. I saw how you 'worked' your faith. Thank you. I love God and Jesus today with all my heart. Hugs to you Mami today.
