On October 22, 2013, the world lost a beautiful young man, Luke Richard Muns, at the age of 24. Luke had been living in Maputo, Mozambique for the past 6 months to work alongside his oldest brother Matt. He went soundly to sleep amongst co-workers and the next morning when they tried to wake him, he was unresponsive. After multiple attempts at resuscitation, he was pronounced deceased. Autopsy results recently revealed that Luke had a brain abscess caused by past trauma and passed away from natural causes when at a very happy place in his life. It was God's time to take him home.
Anyone who knew Luke knows that he loved life, travel, friendship, and he did love to make people laugh. Anytime Luke was around you could guarantee he was the life of the party. He was always up for an adventure including spending his last days fishing, 4-wheeling and kayaking with friends on the island. It was impossible not to fall in love with Luke; he had such a charm about him. There are many great stories out there of times we have all spent with Luke and this is a place where you can leave those thoughts and memories for family and friends to read.
