Mrs. Mamie Doris Sasser

Graveside Services for Mrs. Mamie Doris Sasser, will be Monday, February 6, 2017, 1PM at Hillview Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Wright’s Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 11:30AM until 12:30PM. Rev. Lance Eiland will officiate.

Mrs. Sasser passed away at Gardens of Wetumpka on Thursday, February 2, 2017.

She was born in Coosa County on January 29, 1922 to John and Julia Richardson McElrath.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen (Glenn) Dunlap. Brother, Rev. Ronald (Bobbye) McElrath. Grandson, Eric Mark Dunlap. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie E (Bill) Sasser. Brother, Gordon McElrath. Sisters, Edna Kyle, Vida McElrath, Carrie Margene McElrath.
