Margaret F. Dunham was born to the union of Mamie and Edgar Foster on March 28, 1930 in Union Springs, AL. Margaret was the youngest girl of twelve children born to this union. Margaret's son, father, mother and seven siblings preceded her in death.


Margaret confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Union Hill Baptist Church. She worked in the church for many years. The best way to remember Margaret is in our hearts as a mighty woman of God and one who witnessed His mercy, Grace and Glory to everyone. Margaret peacefully transitioned her life after fighting "A Good Fight" Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Southern Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation Facility in Union Springs, AL. Margaret received her early childhood and elementary education in Union Springs, AL and Birmingham, AL. Margaret lived in Flint, Michigan for many years. Margaret returned to Union Springs, AL in 1970. Margaret worked at the Bullock County Nursing Home. Later, becoming employed as a Bus Driver for the Bullock County Board of Education. She loved everything she did in life, sewing, cooking and singing her special song "It's In My Veins, Lord".


Margaret leaves to remember her love, one granddaughter, Kimberly Brown,; one step-grand daughter, Pamela Smith; four great-grandchildren, Darian Michael Brown, Micayla Jamaiya Brown, Jessica Smith, and Brandi Daniel, all of Augusta, GA; one daughter-in-law, Marva Ann Brown, Atlanta, GA; one brother, Franklin (Zella) Foster, Lisle, IL; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Foster, Chicago, IL and Sue Foster, St. Louis, MO; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
