The daughter of Kimberly Lewis Johnson of Cataula, GA and Zachary Farrow (Shylo) of Columbus , Mariah was a native of Columbus, and was a 2015 graduate of the George W. Carver High School. She was currently attending Columbus State University. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rev. John Farrow.

Survivors other than her parents, include: four brothers, Zactavius Farrow, Zachary Farrow, Jr., Zacquon Farrow and Zachariah Farrow; two sisters, A'Lexiah McMillan and Shaineshia Madden; grandparents, Allen and Benita Lewis and Rosa Farrow; a stepfather, Mario Johnson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
