His Life
August 2, 2015

Marrell loved his family more than life itself. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and whittling. He really enjoyed setting up his own stand at flea markets. He went to I-20, Lee County, Carrollton, and Ruth’s. He never met a stranger. He was a very kind, easy going person; he always had a smile on his face and enjoyed meeting and talking with people. He knew a lot about guns, loved to buy, sell, and trade them. He also refinished guns when he was able.

Marrell was born Friday, September 29, 1944 in West Point, Georgia, the son of Curtis Foster and Lillian Luker Foster. He worked for Coleman Furniture for four years and Heileg Meyers for one year. He continued to work in the furniture business and set up at flea markets until he was unable to do so.

He will be missed by many, but we have peace in knowing we will one day see him again in heaven.

Marrell survived by his wife, Diane Foster, of 44 years, his brother, Billy Foster, of Pine Mountain, Georgia; his sons, Jason Foster, Stephen Foster and wife Angela Foster ; his daughters, Kim Baker and husband, Jeff Baker, Kathy Webb and husband, Troy Webb, Pam Elliott, Tracy Lester and husband Lamar Lester; his grandchildren, Madyson Foster, Racheal Foster, Justin Foster, Stephani Foster, Nicholas Tillman, Evan Tillman, Jonathon Coggins, Jackson Coggins, Trevor Elliott, Lindsey Elliott, Angel Webb; along with seven great grandchildren and one on the way.
