Marti Michelle Harris Kilp was born September 27, 1966. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Marti's father, Ward L. Harris was in the U.S. Navy and was in Vietnam when she was born, he did not see her until she was three months old at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, he died in 1985. 

 Marti went to school in San Diego, California, Albuquerque, New Mexico,New Orleans, Louisiana, Iwakuni, Japan, and Yuma, Arizona, she has an older brother Steve, currently in Iraq, born 1959, and she has a daughter Jessica, born 1988, and attends Coastal Carolina University. Jessica looks just like her Mother.

Marti passed away in Gainsville, Florida, April 15, 2011 at age 44 yrs, 6 1/2 mos.

There will never be another Marti, she was a free spirit and we love her so.
