My mother's life was not without tragedy or difficulties. Yet she lead by example and persevered by way of hard work and a great attitude. In her later years she was able to come and stay with me during winters in Santa Monica, CA. She had a special place in her heart for the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu. She reached a point where the trip out was too difficult and I had to make a decision. I closed down my business in LA and moved in with her. She repeatedly asked that I never place her in a nursing home and I will be forever grateful that I was able to fulfill her wishes.

My brother Joe & I were with her when she passed and she would be happy about that.
