Mrs. Mary F. Mitchell of Columbus passed away Tuesday at the Columbus Hospice at Midtown West. She was 79 years of age and resided at 515 Englewood Drive.

The daughter of the late Johnny and Willie M. Clark Williams, Mrs. Mitchell was born in Cusseta, GA. She was a member of Allen Temple AME Church and was employed for 25 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Medical Center. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Willie Bell Franklin, King Williams, John T. Williams and James Henry Williams. Survivors include: one son, Henry Lee Mitchell; three sisters, Lena Mae Short, Martha Washington and Lucille Rose; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
