Mrs. Mary V. Tolbert was born on November 25,1945 at Russell Hospital inAlexander City, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Russell.

She joined Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson's Gap, Alabama at an early age.

She was preceded in death by: a loving husband, Willie M. Tolbert; two loving sisters, Louise Veasley and Judy Ann Russell; two loving brothers, Willie D. Russell and Robert L. Russell; a special nephew, Courtney Russell.

Mrs. Tolbert departed her life on Friday, June 14, 2013 at her residence in Jackson's Gap, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters, Joyce (Pete) Crayton, Annette Jones and Dorothy (Howard) Edwards all of Jackson's Gap, Alabama; one brother, Thomas Russell of Hyannis, Maryland;
one step-brother, Mr. Darryl Pearson of Jackson Gap, Alabama; one God-daughter, Marasial (Honey Boo-Boo) Goggans and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special friend, Shirley Ann Russell.
