My Mother. Many called her Tillie, short for Matilda.Born in Liverpool England. She loved to laugh,sing,cook,feed us, show love the way she knew how. Her life was not always easy. Growing up in the depresion, married to an RCAF enlisted serviceman, having her first child Victoria at a young age.Then raising 3 more. Her last I when she was 38. Her husband my Father Norman died at 66 yrs old back in 1986 which tore our world apart. Mentally,Financially and most important a companion for my mother in which I stood up to take care of her needs since his passing. I moved my Mom to Reno in 2003 because I could no longer allow her to be alone. She lived in an apt close by for about 3 years then had to move in with us for a period of time as we realized that her dementia was progressing. I wish that we could have taken care of her forever till her last breath, but was not possible due to various reasons. In 2005 my brother Alan passed away, that took a piece of both our hearts.I loved him so. My Mother was surely Loved by all she came in contact with. Feisty or not, she had a personality that attracted people. I have peace knowing she is with my Lord Jesus in Heaven in his safe keeping and has no more pain or trials.
