Born 8 August 1917, Pittsburg, Kansas.
Moved to Wichita Kansas sometime before 4 years old.
Lived at 1117 Franklin, Wichita until Kindergarten.
Moved to 1320 University Ave, Wichita when 5 years old.
Went to Franklin Elementary school Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Moved to 1324 University Ave during early grade school years.
Went to Alison Intermediate School for 7th grade.
Moved to 413 Vassar, Wichita, summer of 1929.
Went to Intermediate school and Wichita High School East for 8th through 12th grade. 
Graduated at Wichita East High, 1935.

Went to Wichita University for 2 years September 1935 to June 1937.
Went to Oklahoma A&M College 3 years, September 1937 to June 1940.
Graduated Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State) with BSEE electrical engineering, June 1940.

Commissioned at 2nd Lt Infantry 1939 after 4 years in ROTC.

Went to work at Vega, summer of 1940 in Burbank, California – aircraft industry.
Worked in equipment group for Vega Ventura. (Vega merged with Lockheed later). 
Fall of 1941 - worked with Boeing Douglas Lockheed Committee in Seattle Washington on B-17 aircraft.

Called to active military service, March 1942. 
Went to Fort Monmouth New Jersey, and Hobe Sound Florida for training as Radar Officer. 
November 1942 – went to Panama as Radar Officer until summer of 1946.
Was at Pito, Panama near Colombia on Atlantic Side, Mandinga Bay on Atlantic side, Fort Gullick near Colon, Albrook Field near Panama City, Queba Island on Pacific Side.
Taught school at station 51 near Ft. Gullich.

Returned reserve status May 1946, and returned to work at Lockheed.
Took job at Harvey Machine Co, June 1946 at 62nd and Gage Ave Los Angeles – moved to Torrance August 1946 to old Baun extrusion plant purchased by Harvey.

Married Anita Dooley, June 19, 1948. 
Moved to Torrance and lived at apartment building on Eldorado St and ….
