A memory came to me today. When me and the guys were talking about jail and stuff. I thought to myself about the time I had got released from jail after being in for quite sometime. And they released me at 12:00 am midnight. The sheriffs there were real mean. Always yelled. We had to stand outside on a yellow line until our family's or whoever came to pick us up... One deputy there called the Terminator... Never smiled always mean. Always drillin us. Well she was standing there at that time waiting for us to be released. And all the sudden I hear loud music and red mustang pull up. Dads hanging out the window yelling "My Babyyy" blowing kisses.... Like seriously ... Ever the terminator guard cracked up. It was quite a moment.
Childhood
The funny fact about this picture is that it brought back some funny memories. Mike and his brothers often had me on their shoulders and paraded me around like their mascot. To be young in the 70's. I remember vividly that they would often perch me on a branch on a tree and allow me to hang until I would fall. At the time I didn't appreciate it as much as they did. I now find humor in it, I undestand they were trying to build strength and perseverance in me because I wouldn't go down without a fight.
This exactly how Mike lived with strength and perseverance.
