Happy Birthday to my beautiful grandaughter in heaven.  I was wondering what my gift would be this year:  nice silky pajamas, your favorite Bobbi Brown lip gloss or maybe passing on a piece of family turquoise.  I still have the lip gloss I purchased when we were shopping in San Francisco,  Today I will use a little.  I will mess up GPa' s hair like you used to do. The only one who got away with doing that.  Make your favorite berry cobbler. Always miss you. Love GPa & GMa

Grandma Denny's sweet girl

January 21, 2017

This is not really a story...it's a fact I was reminded of today through a photo of Michelle and Grandma Denny. There was such a deep love between Michelle and her Great Grandma Denny and how happy Grandma was to see her in Heaven. I can only imagine shared joy, laughter and fun happening between them even as I write this today! I am confident I will see them and be part of their joy, too. With love, deep yearning to see her and much gratitude that she landed in my life! Aunt Sharon

Family and Friends of Michelle,
I am late, but nonetheless saddened, to learn of Michelle's passing. She was a coworker of mine at Lash group in San Bruno. A star employee, she spent a lot of time training me when I first came on board at the company. I remember her as kind and intelligent. I was new to the area, so she took the time to show me the best local lunch spots and told me where to go sightseeing. She was an excellent teacher, and an ambitious person - she kept some of her USF course material tacked to her cubicle walls so she could study on her breaks. She regaled my coworkers and I with stories of her European adventures and hilarious travelling fiascos. Her best story: She woke up at 8pm from an after-work nap confused, thinking that it was 8am; sped all the way to work and called our boss frantically apologizing for being late, only to realize what time it actually was. May God bless your family, and may He take Michelle into his loving arms.

Berry Cobbler

August 23, 2012

Michelle always wanted berry cobbler for her birthday.Last year she wanted it in small individual servings so she could have one every few days.  Guess she just didn't want to share  grandma's cobbler.  This time I just made large ones for everyone in memory of her.  Jesus will give you all the berry cobbler you want Michelle.  GMa  The day Michelle was lost is another family story.  I always had a 6th sense when something was wrong with my family.  One day when Michelle was very young, I just kept thinking something was not right.  I called Kathy and she told me they had been searching everywhere and even had the sheriff's office and all the neighbors searching for her.  They found her sound asleep in a corner way under her bed.  She was probably playing hide and seek and fell asleep.  We'll always love you our beautiful, wonderful grand daughter.  We'll never eat berry cobbler without thinking of you GMa

Awkward Teens

August 21, 2012
Danielle, Michelle's sister, is my best friend. Though we met in middle school, Danielle and Istarted getting really close freshman year of high school; we found out how many things we had in common and how equally awkward we both were during that stage in out lives. It was around October or November 2008 that I first met her sister and man was I intimidated! Danielle always talked about how pretty her sister was, how amazing her wardrobe was, and how smart she was. You could she really admired her big sister. Being skeptical about how such a perfect person could exist, I was speechless when the time came to meet her and I found out all those things Danielle talked about were true! Like I said, Danielle and I were awkward freshmen in high school and hanging out with someone like Michelle was kind of a blow to my self esteem! But she ddnt make me feel that way, she was so nice to us and funny! Just like her little sister:) Anyways, Danielle introduced me to her sister in the first place because Michelle had invited us to do some charity work with her. She could tell we didn't really want to go, so she told us a group of boys our age from Jesuit would be there! After she said that, of course we agreed to go right away! You could imagine how disappointed Danielle and I were when there were no boys at the event...it was just Michelle's way of tricking us into doing charity work wih her! That moment made me realize how truly amazing Michelle was. One of her main goals in life was just to help people in need (even if that meant tricking her little sister and her friend into helping too!). And from then on, I've always admired her too.

Christmas

August 21, 2012

This was a very special christmas for my family, If you know the Marshall family you know about the Christmas plays at the grange. The year of this picture David got the prestigious job of being Santa Claus, Michelle, Michael and me could not stop laughing at David. He was the most humerous santa we ever had, he stuffed a pillow in his stomach and really got into the act of being santa for our little cousins and second cousins.

My Graduation

August 21, 2012

I was so blessed to have my beautiful sister cheering me on through my high school career. I remember when i was graduating I told her she didn't have to come to my ceremony because it was going to be so boring, hours and hours of listening to names getting called. Michelle would not have it though so she drove down from San Francisco to join in on celebrating a special event in my life. The morning of my graduation Michelle helped me get ready like she would always do for me when I had a special event to go to, I was running so late that morning though. Michelle being the amazing big sister that she was wouldn't let me show up late to my graduation ceremony so she drove me there as fast and reckless as she could haha. I don't know how many of you have had the privelidge of riding in the car with Michelle, but she was definately what you would call an aggressive driver. That morning though I think she cut off a little more people then normal just so i would make it to my ceromony on time. We were laughing so hard when we got there thinking of what a funny sight we were driving in the big mercedes SUV with the Stanford sticker in the back cutting people off.
