Reginald Scott was born on January 25, 1946 in Chicago Illinois to the late Mildred Scott. He graduated from Phillips High School in Chicago.
He worked as a Security Investigator for the Illinois Stock Exchange. Affectionately called “Reggie”, he also enjoyed a career in Amateur Boxing, placing 2nd twice in the Golden Gloves.
Reggie was a member of West End Baptist Church in Valley, Alabama. He was baptized on March 23, 2014. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and gardening. Reginald Scott transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 peacefully in his home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife of 41 years, Dorothy Edmonson Baines; two daughters, Bridget King and Raquel (Darryl) Lyons; two sons, Derek (LaTasha) Edmonson and Calvin Edmonson; his loving brother, Eldred (Renee) Jamison; 10 grandchildren, Deon, JerCorey, Valentez, Okoye, Calvin, Shyrah, Farakahn, Kai, Maya and Rashad; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
