An active member of Greenwood Baptist Church for over sixty years, Mrs. Darden served as President of the Deacon Wives Ministry, Senior Advisor of Kitchen Committee, Member of Pastor's Aide and Member of the Missionary Society. She was also an Eastern Star.

Her survivors include:  her devoted husband, Willie Frank Darden, Lanett, AL; five sons, Willis Jerome (Andreia) Darden, Walter (Bertha) Huguley, Timothy Walker, Norman Darden and JeCorey Darden all of Lanett, AL; two daughters, Nikki Darden and Debbie (Frank) Stringer both of Lanett, AL; one sister, Pastor Mary Frances Huguley, Hartford, CT; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Bessie Huguley, Carrie Darden and Sally Darden all of Atlanta, GA; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy L. Darden, LaFayette, AL and Josephus Darden, Atlanta, GA; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
