Mrs. Willie Mae Flowers was born on June 8, 1936 in Troup County, Georgia to the late Mrs. Lena Mae Allums. She was the oldest of six children, with one brother preceding her in death.

She departed this Earthly life on July 8, 2013 at the Genfiva Hospice (Odyssey House) in Decatur, Georgia.

Very early in life, Mrs. Flowers moved to Brooklyn, New York. She lived and worked at H.J. Rashti and Company for well over forty years as a production supervisor. She then returned to Stone Mountain, Georgia due to health issues.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving children, Michael Jennings (Cheryl), Tascena Jennings; brothers, Leroy Allums (Patricia), Lamar Allums; sisters, Annie Jean Mapp (Willie), Patricia Smith (Emery); grandchildren, Khalifa Hutchins, Shauntel Jennings, Shaatia Brown, Aleesha Jennings; sister-in-law, Carolyn Allums along with a host of nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews, other family members and devoted lifetime friends.
