Noel A. Kassmeier, 54, of Spencer, Iowa, died January 2, 1992 at the Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Noel Anthony Kassmeier, son of Bill and Pearl (Wisnieski) Kassmeier, was born March 3, 1937 in Dodge, Nebraska. Following his education he farmed with his father for several years.

He entered the military in 1963, serving in the Army in Germany. He received his discharge in 1964.

He married Shelia Rose VanKleck on June 28, 1975 in Sioux City. They lived in Sioux City and then Hawarden, Iowa following their marriage. They moved to Spencer in 1977. He continued to farm during his adult life.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie and his grandparents.
