My Amazing Nan

I was fortunate to have been blessed with a nan in a million, although i was 1 of 3 grandchildren, she called me her "Number 1", she was like a second mother to me, yes we had our rows but "at the end of the day" (was one of her favourite sayings) we got on like a house on fire. She was always there when i needed her, although for the last 10 years we didnt live in the same country, we still saw an awful lot of each other, and shared lots of happy memories together as well as foreign holidays' and many, many laughs - We have lots of happy memories and do talk about them every day, sometimes it is like she is still here with us, only when i want to pick up the phone to call her (because she never phoned us!!!) and tell her something i realise i cant :( Almost a year has gone by since she passed, and i still cant believe she has left us.
I was pleased that my boys got to meet their Great Grandma, and spend lots of time with her, the apple of her eye was my youngest Jack who was only 10 months when she left us, even when she was so very poorly towards the end she waited for us all to get there and when she saw "her Jacko" her face said it all, they even managed to snuggle up and have a sleep in her hospital bed that she had at home.
Every day my boys send a kiss up to Nanny Nora in the sky, and i know she is there looking after my eldest son Joseph who passed in 2005.
We love you Nan, and wont ever accept you are gone xxxxxxxxx
