This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Okon Udofia Akpan, 75, born on July 22, 1937 and passed away on September 22, 2012. We will remember him forever.

Thursday 1st November, 2012
Body leaves Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos state, for his home town.
Use Ikot Oku, Ibiono Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom state
Saturday 3rd November, 2012.
Lying In State in home town. Time 8:00-10:00am.
Funeral Service in home town. Time 11:00am.
Interment and reception follows immediately.

Papa five years today its like yesterday, we are always at logger head. But today i understand why it was like that, you and mama loved me so much.papa,today i appreciate you with the whole of my heart. I miss you so much,sleep well till we meet to part no more. Adieu papa !!!!!!!!!

Can't forget that midnight when my wife's phone rang,it was a call from home to tell me that papa just stroll on. Painful,hard to accept, but it's a bitter pill I just have to swallow. According to the book of Ecclesiastes 3 v1 ,that is the appointed time for that. The tears can't stop falling from my eyes each time I think about you. Good night papa!!!!!!!!!!!!
