Mr. Otis Bryant was born on July 10, 1939 to the late Willie Bryant and Lizzie Johnson in Macon County (Tuskegee, AL). In his early twenties, he moved to New York and retired from Queens Garage after thirty-three years. He returned to Downs, AL in July 1998. In August 1998, he married his love one, Classie Holmes. He became a member of Union Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Downs, AL.

Mr. Otis Bryant was also preceded in death by four sisters, Peach Mae Johnson, Margaret Bryant, Annie Ruth McGrady and Louise Freeman, four brothers, Freddie Johnson, David Lee Bryant, Apolian Bryant and Bump Johnson.

His memories will be cherished by his devoted wife, Classie Holmes Bryant;
four children, Charles Holmes, William Holmes, both of Downs, AL, Leon
White, Jacqueline Curry; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren,
one sister, Malinda McGee; one brother, Lee Roy Smith; three step-children,
Linda, Eula and Hubert Holmes; five sisters-in-law, Missie Holmes,
Gussie Rhine, Beatrice Ingram, Louise Cloud and Diane Cloud Thomas; three
brothers-in-law, Edgar Cloud, Wendell Cloud and Richard Rhine; along
with a host of nieces, nephews including a very special nephew, Ronnie
Bryant; cousins, other relatives and friends including a devoted friend,
Woodrow “Stick” Grant.
