A Day at Disneyland

April 4, 2013

Back in the 1990s Pam and I both attended the California Republican Party convention in Anaheim.  Bored with the convention, we decided to skip it and walked across the street to Disneyland.  Now THAT was really fun!

Here's another one.... a number of years ago my wife and I attended the Glory of Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral.  Fortunately for us Pam was ushering that night and navigated us through the long lines and secured fantastic seats for us.

I could go on....so many great memories of Pam.  God bless her always!

My Big Sis

March 29, 2013

Pam was an amazing big sister, and was always there for her younger siblings when they needed someone to just listen or to lend a helping hand.

One instance I'll always remember happened many many years ago, when my sister Joey and I were just kids.  We were both sick with the stomach flu, lying in our beds and fighting bouts of nausea, when Pam came into the room.  Even though we were sick and probably highly contageous, Pam sat with us for hours, brought chipped ice and popsicles, and read a whole Nancy Drew mystery book to us to distract us from how bad we felt.

That one instance sums up Pam's nature and spirit for me.  She was always self-sacrificing, and consistently thought of the needs of others' before the needs of herself.

She'll be missed, and she's deeply loved.
