Pauline Riggins Thomas was born November 1, 1935 to the late Abe and Louise Riggins, in Equality AL. She received Christ at an early age and united with Good Grove Baptist Church in Coosa County.

She kept her eye on the prize and departed this life on May 15, 2013,to receive her gift.

Pauline was known to many as (POLLY). She was a very forgiving, loving, caring, and charitable person.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Benjamin E. Thomas in 1956 and to their union eight devoted children were born. She moved to Birmingham, AL in later years and joined Damascus Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her illness.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Benjamin, her children Paulethea (Fred), Sandra (Michael), Jackie (Eric), Ben Jr, Earl (Ellen), Bernard (Cynthia), Kenn (Wanda), and Mark (Quida), eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren, one brother Robert Edwards.(Chartene) of Detroit Michigan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with two special adopted daughters Belinda Faye and Janice.
