Peter Bello was a keen aviator with excellent handling skills and a valued member of Bristow's team in Nigeria, where he flew as first officer with the Sikorsky S-76C+/C++.

He joined Bristow initially with the Central Rostering Team, preparing for the Pilot Training Program before being selected as a cadet pilot at the Bristow Academy in Titusville, Florida where he trained from 2013 to 2014 and trained with the S-76 at Port Harcourt before being deployed to Lagos in September of that year.

Born in Calabar in Nigeria, he graduated with an honours degree in chemical engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana in 2010 before going on to gain an MSc in process safety and loss prevention at the University of Sheffield in the UK. He leaves behind his parents and sisters.
