|Let the memory of Richard be with us forever|
"My dearest Richard, Nov. 19th has marked a year since your passing from this life into eternity. Life has been hard without you, my love, but I have had the outpouring of love from friends & family.<3 I have had many lonely times without you, and my heart yearns to be with you again and just talk & hold hands like we always did. i miss your big hands as they wrapped around mine & rubbed my back. i could feel the love in your hands as well as in my heart. You have left me with a lifetime of love that few people get to experience. You were a good husband & friend, and I will always cherish the memories of our life together & what we had. Forever missed by your wife of 23 years.<3"
"Remembering some great fishing adventures! You were a dear friend who was always a joy to be with. Enjoyed those many meals we shared and times we spent together!"
"I thought I had already added a tribute, but Richard was such a special man and dear friend, he deserves all the tribute he can get! I think of him each Sunday morning as I try my best to lead the worship music, whenever I hear certain songs he always wanted to hear me sing, as I dust my piano, play the CD's he recorded for me, etc. My husband Pete and I often comment that we wish we could ask Richard something. He was such a great help with our sound system and karaoke. I know Pete misses shooting pool with him, we really miss his sense of humor and I often long for his accompaniment as I sing. He is (and forever will be) greatly missed and treasured in my heart!!"
"Happy Birthday to you,Richard,in heaven. I know you are enjoying yourself so much learning all kinds of things you didn't know about your new life. Say hello to Jesus and tell Him we are anxious to see Him and join you all there! Char can hardly wait to be reunited with you. She
misses you so much."
"My dearest darling Richard, I hope you have a happy birthday today with Jesus and others whom have gone on before. I am celebrating the life we shared together. I visited you today and placed a big beautiful red rose on your grave. I remember that you gave me a red rose on our first date in 1989. I will love you forever and a day, my love."
"Richard was my friend and I loved him as a brother. He was the kindest man I ever knew. He would go out of his way to help anyone and he did this from the heart. I lost my best friend and a piece of my heart. It hurts every time I think of the loss of my friend, but I know he is in Heaven with God. I hope one day we will play music together again."
"I never got to meet Richard but Charlotte, his wife, was a childhood friend of mine. We had many wonderful times together as children and young adults. I am so sorry for your loss Charlotte and know God is surrounding you with his comforting arms. May God bless you and heal your broken heart."
"When I think of Richard, I think of a sweet man who was always kind. He smiled a lot and loved my Aunt Charlotte a whole lot! I am thankful for the time you two had together. Your love for one another is an inspiration to many."
"I am so thankful for the times that I had visiting with Richard and Charlotte in Florida and recently in Tennessee. I'm so glad I stopped by for a visit only days before we lost Richard. I will always treasure that time with him. We laughed and talked and enjoyed the moment. He was an amazing person who left a lasting impression on many people.
He was my brother in law but he was also my friend. I love you Richard and will always remember you. God bless and keep you Charlotte."
"Richard was a good friend. We had some good visits at the farm. Had a great time with both of you when we visited last spring. We will miss his personality and love of music."
"I have so many good memories of Richard. He had an amazing gift of making you feel special, accepted and loved. He was the best example of how everyone should treat each other. He was one of the sweetest and kindest men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I loved him like a brother and I miss him very much. I am glad he was my brother-in-law and I have learned so much from him about how to treat people. I know where he is and I will see him again one day."
I am so sorry for your loss. Richard will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was kind, polite and always interested in what you had to tell him. Even though I didn't see you often I will miss him. God bless you Charlotte, Love you"
"Richard was a sweet person and I am so Happy he was your love , your soul mate. He was the perfect fit in our family and was loved by us all. He was a wonderful cousin and host when we visited you two in Florida. David enjoyed going places with him as well. We loved getting to go the ocean together and the Block Party and hearing his music and singing . Those are some sweet memories we will forever carry in our hearts. He may be gone from this earth but he will never be forgotten. We play his CD at times and listen to him singing and it is as if he is right there beside us. He had a talent so few have and he loved sharing and teaching others every chance he got. He is at rest now in a beautiful place where we shall all join the angel band and sing as one one day before we know it. RIP Richard and know you were loved by so many."
"What a kind and good Christian man Richard was! The 4 of us shared lots of meals and good times together while we lived in Florida. Charlotte, you and Richard, together, really had the God given gift of hospitality and you both used it so well. Also, I really haven't known anyone more helpful then him. He would just wear himself out trying to help others!! Loved all those pictures posted here, too. He was very handsome. May God bless and comfort you, Char, and Richard's family as you morn but with the assurance you will be with him again in heaven some sweet day."

I am so encouraged by your demonstration of faith since Richard's passing. I have seen God's hand in your life by your trust that God
Is in control. I am thankful that you and Richard had moved home recently and you were surrounded by so many people that love you. It would have been so hard for you to be in Florida without the support of your family and friends. I loved Richard like a brother! I adored him and he was always so kind to me. He willed be missed by so many. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you in any way.
May God continue to bless you with precious memories!
I love you,
I remember the first time we met you and Richard when we were on visitation from SB Church, and you gave Jeff some red caviar and we became great friends. All the times like birthday parties, getting together at our house and yours, staying with you on our way through to Sint Maarten or Canada and we would sing around the piano. Oh how Richard loved music, now he is singing in heaven and rejoicing. I have so many memories I can't put them all down. The time we visited in TN and we rode with the side doors open up and down the mountains...they were and are such great memories...the time he came to Canada and helped with the work there. I could go on and on about all the great times we had out on Manasota Key just talking, eating and laughing a lot, love you Charlotte and will always remember Richard as a great friend and you. Praying for you."
"WHAT A LOVELY TRIBUTE TO SUCH A NICE MAN.....YOU GUYS WERE ALWAYS GREAT NEIGHBORS! MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU CHARLOTTE....I WILL MISS HEARING HIM SING....SIGH.....THIS IS SO SAD......."
