Riveting blue eyes peered into diminutive ears, then at level with the child, gently declared, “Perfect.”  The result:  Grins abound in the once cartooned, now brilliantly colored exam room.  Yes, a healer, but also a parenting coach.  His encouraging “Keep doing what you’re doing,” made ordinary parenting feel like you exceeded goal.  “Good job, Champ” with knuckle bumps made boys cool, while “Well hello there Princess” always elicited a shy blush.  Recently he recounted a trip to Disneyland where he was humbled by the number of patrons who recognized and called out to him.  He was both respected and adored.  Thank you to the Walls family for sharing this wonderful, beautiful man with us.  We and our children are all better in every way because we knew him.
